So far im liking it there’s a slight rubbing sound when I open it but I don’t really mind it and it’s what I expected

I got this computer as a placeholder until mine could be fixed. It is incredibly slow, and it keeps having weird glitches that makes things take twice as long. I have had good experiences with Chromebooks in the past, but this was not one of them. I would not recommend it for students or really anyone. Ill be returning it.

This thing is slow, not even slow for the price but just plain old slow. I thought it would be a good solution for a cheap durable computer to throw in a bag and do some light computing on the go. And while it definitely seems durable and luggable, it just doesnt handle even light computing tasks very well.

This model doesnt have an HDMI port.

The Acer 311 Chromebooks are entry-level laptops for those who are on a budget and do not need the processing power of other mainstream laptops. If you can make major compromises and be willing to learn something new, you will benefit significantly from this computer. I purchased this Acer 311 CB311-10H primarily for its cost and for a personal experiment as I transition my workflow to something more unified (and cancel some annual subscriptions in the process). While I am still in the process, what I have experienced so far is generally great – not only is it an entry-level laptop, it is an entry into a new world managing your workflow and overall digital existence.

This is one of the least expensive laptops you can buy brand new, so I’m giving it a lot of slack. For the money I say it’s worth it. However, the mouse scroll pad isn’t very good, and neither is the brightness of the screen. It can do a lot of today’s file storage and internet and it seems well built like it will last for years. Overall a good (super budget) laptop.
