This chromebook is very much worth the money, I bought it for college and it has been very quick and hasn’t had any performance issues. I highly recommend this laptop to any upcoming college students who need a reliable device for taking notes and doing classwork.

I am highly impressed with the Build quality of the Acer Chromebook Spin 311, It does everything I was expecting it to do like Web Browsing, Email, Youtube, entertainment, longer battery life, quick turn on or turn off, etc. tasks extremely well, and at this price point, This is definitely a winner with an added bonus of a Touchscreen, Its easy to carry with all necessary Ports you need and more. This feedback is from an IT professional with 20+ years of experience in computers. I have Apple MacBook Pro and HP Z Book for development work that requires heavy processing power. Highly Recommend it, If you have the right expectations! [Note that Its not for Gaming]

Worked great for the first month, then started shutting down, and losing the OS, telling me it was either gone or corrupt. Would NOT recommend this. Since it worked for the initial month, it was past the return to Amazon date, so now I have to go through Acer to get it fixed. Way more hassle than I expected when I bought it.

I have always bought acer in the past and never had a problem. This model unfortunately is the worst! Ive only had it for 2 months and it continues to have glitches! After only owning the product for a month the screen blacked out! I had a presentation at work that day and it wouldnt do anything! The power button wasnt working and it stayed black for a few hours! Finally...the power button worked and I had a normal screen again! So frustrating! Ruined my presentation! From time to time the screen and the keys just freeze up! I have to turn off the power and turn it back on a few times. I contacted Acer and they want me to send my computer to them but doesnt offer a replacement while Im they are working on it. I need my computer on a daily basis for my work! I would never buy this model again!! Its cheap for a reason!!

(Updated May 21, 2023) This review is for the ACER Chromebook Spin 314 Convertible Laptop (Model: CP314-1H-P1Q5) featuring a 14 multi-touch display, Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, relatively generous 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of slower eMMC storage. This laptop was priced at ~$400 at the time of this review, and unfortunately, despite being new to the market and including Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, the price is not justified. To be honest, it feels like a $300 machine. Its got a terrible, low-resolution screen, and while ACER hasnt specified the panel type, its likely TN since it suffers from limited view angles and poor contrast. While this configuration of the ACER Chromebook Spin 314 is adequate for most productivity and education workloads, I cant recommend it since there are several convertible Chromebooks with 8GB RAM/128GB eMMC in the ~$400 price range with vastly superior Full HD (1920x1080) IPS touchscreens and laptop-class processors, such as the
