I have been looking for a good chromebook for a few months. This one has everything and more. The stylus is an awesome an addition. It loads super fast and the battery life is fantastic! Flips easily into a tablet. Syncs easily with my Samsung S10. Amazing.

Unless you are a computer genius save your money. You cant use word, its hard as f$@% to save files, editing pictures is almost impossible unless you buy new software, of course it has to be theirs. Google has spent a lifetime trying to corner the market on computers and now they have figured it out. Oh, and of course there is no manuel so you can ask for help but good luck figuring out what its telling you. I would save your money because now I am going to have to buy another laptop that is compatible with word

This is a great laptop, and it works very well......unfortunately I had to return it because it was heavier than I wanted.....went back to a tablet.

External drives will not handle movies very well, very jerky, and does not handle a lot of Android apps. Samsung Tab A - 8inch. Is a much better product /option.

After six long years, my 16-year-old daughter totally wore out her first Chromebook. I did A LOT of research to make sure I bought her the Chromebook that would best meet her needs. Shes loving her new Acer! It has a great touch screen and she loves the way she can fold it back. Very nice. Shes happy...so, her dad is a very happy customer!

This machine is snappy. The display is great. I purchased it because of Crostini which works as it should at this early stage of development. It is way ahead of the Chromebooks I recommend for my school district. The only problem I have is that the display crashes. Large gray vertical stripes appear on the screen, then it turns black. The only way to recover from this is to fold the laptop and reopen it immediately. This happened a lot while using Crostini, so I first blamed this on the fact that the project was in Beta. But now, it also happens while running Chrome or android apps. I am now starting to wonder if this is not a hardware or implementation issue. I have had to return Acer laptops in the past. Is it a one-off issue? Should I exchange the machine? Acer, please help...

I purchased in Oct 2022. After using the unit for a few weeks, I have concerns about the battery. It gets very hot. The bottom of the unit gets hot enough to be uncomfortable when I have it resting on my chest while surfing (in my recliner). I have a shirt on yet the heat from the bottom is enough to have me looking for a towel to use as a pad. Also, this unit replaced an ASUS chromebook that is years older yet the ASUS seems to load websites faster. Finally, the touchpad is not nearly as sensitive as the ASUS. I often have to tap twice to get a reaction. There also seems to be an occasional issue with loading facebooks short videos. After they load, you cant close the window by clicking x in the upper corner. You have to scroll back using the back arrow on the browser bar. Annoying.

Fairly light for its size, high-quality, great screen, touch-pad and keyboard.

Wasn’t great for what I needed it for but overall would have been good if it did work for me.
