Pen input is 100% not ideal for digital artists, though wavy lines can be mitigated with a Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus pen and the blue nib, its still a strange option for Acer to put in an AES 1.0 panel in an otherwise perfect configuration.

> 3 dayEverything works perfectly, only problem for me is the laptop gets really hot when starting a game but i guess it wasnt really made to be a gaming laptop so i cant complain. Pen werks awesomely on the screen, batterylife is a bit short sometimes depending what you have running on the screen. Very glad i bought it, would even buy again!

> 3 dayI thought it was just an issue with my laptop, until I checked the reviews and saw multiple others having the same issues. The actual laptop is pretty great. But there seems to be a pretty severe issue with the GPU. It is constantly BSODing, and after it recovers from it the GPU will remain disconnected and requires multiple restarts reenable. I sent it in to Acer Repair and they sent it back saying they couldnt reproduce it. I find it a little hard to believe, since all you have to do is turn on the laptop and it will BSOD eventually.

Greater than one weekDO NOT BUY!! This is a defective model. It is very unstable with its GPU it goes offline and produces blue screen errors. There is a similar review here. We tried everything even replaced the mother board through warranty but it has the same problem so it means it’s a design engineering defect…
