I have been a Mac user for years so this laptop was the first non-Mac laptop that I had used in years and I was pleasantly surprised. The specs are awesome in terms of memory, hard drive space, speed, and processing. In terms of aesthetics and feel it is really beautiful to use and very cool. Cortana speaks when you first turn on the laptop and helps in the setup process which makes it very user friendly. Love the touchscreen aspect and the inclusion of the stylus. I am a blogger and do a lot of digital work for my blog so this laptop is definitely going to be a game-changer in terms of what I can do with it. Even though it is a gaming laptop, it is great for just daily use with Microsoft office but it is true to its name it is a creators laptop. If you create a lot of digital work then this is the laptop for you.

I love this computer. Had the speed to run my programs to design items and my kids love that they can work on homework and write it problems.

I used to be a build it yourself full size workstation tower kind of person. But with all the working from home over the past several months, Ive gotten used to having a macbook pro plugged into a thunderbolt docking station a with dual monitor, keyboard, mouse and wacom setup. So the idea of having an pre-configured art focused note book is something I was more comfortable with than I would have been before.

Sometimes the pen bugs out after a few seconds of using it, but it should start working again once you put it back in and take it out again.

While this laptop is marketed to visual artists, its far more suited for the interactive artist. Pen input is 100% not ideal for digital artists, though wavy lines can be mitigated with a Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus pen and the blue nib, its still a strange option for Acer to put in an AES 1.0 panel in an otherwise perfect configuration.

This is the first time I’ve not bought a Mac for design work. I wanted a laptop with a drawing / touch screen included for on the go work. This was a good solution. It runs illustrator, photoshop and InDesign well. Colour screen is quite good as well. If you are wanting to save a little money over buying a MacBook and iPad separately this is a workable solution for graphic design and illustration.

Horrible experience with this laptop. It just died this week, with all my information on there.

We are older and dont do gaming or artist work. This laptop works great for everything we need it to do. She loves the look and feel of this computer.

Great laptop overall. The ezel hinge is absolutely wonderful. I wish it was 4K like the ezel 7, but at 14 screen size, full HD is more than sufficient. The only complaint I have is the in-built pen, and more accurately the pen technology being AES. Because of this technology, the pen isnt what it should be on a laptop aimed at artists, architects, and the like. It jitters if drawn slow, or even relatively moderate speed, but of course, it straightens out the faster you draw across the screen. As for the hand holding experience of the pen, since it is so tiny and slim, it can be uncomfortable if used for extended periods. Buying another pen such as the Lenovo Active Pen 2, Bamboo Ink II, or even the surface pen will give a more comfortable hand holding experience. However, this wont mitigate the line jitter, since thats an issue that cant be solved by the pen alone. Still, overall great laptop, but, if you are absolutely serious about artwork at a professional level and need those straight lines at all levels, get the concept 7 over the concept 3. However, for anyone else, artists whose arent doing it professionally, or even students, the conceptD 3 is excellent.
