Its a good laptop but it crapped out on me after a month

I have another one of these exact chromebooks. So I bought another to keep in my truck. The Resolution was very messed up. 280-360 at best. What made me realize it as I had bothered out and was moving files from one to the other. And the letters were not as crisp looking on my new one. The blacks were hugely different. I turned the brightness all the way up and all the way down to. Tried the contrast settings same thing the new one was funky looking. Im trying one last thing before I raise hell with Amazon or acer one. Dont you just hate getting semi- big ticket item and it comes out the box messed up.....

I researched online what I should get for an eight year old, I should have looked at the reviews instead. It was used for 3 weeks and then the screen went black. It would not turn off or do anything. Other reviews mentioned this when I looked after it happened and was seeing if I wanted to replace it with the same one. I went for a different brand.

The screen went out after less than a month of use. I contacted Acer and they had me send in the chromebook for repair. After 3 weeks, they sent it back still broken. When I let Acer know that they returned the device still just as unusable as before, they apologized and asked me to send it back to their repair shop. So now I have been having it repaired for longer than I actually used the thing.

Great Chromebook, delivery was fast

I had hp Chromebook very easy to sync . Great price great look. I use mine to shop pay bills etc. Also keeps me up to date on sports News politics.Ocassionally I download a few documents. I’m not a computer guy but for me it’s great. Go Bengals

It is good for what I need for work

The laptop itself was fine but Ill never get another Chromebook. The operating system is just too clunky compared to windows. It forces you to do everything in the cloud which proved to be more annoying than I thought it would be and the lack of a simple delete key is a notable issue.

It had good picture and sound but it lasted only about 3 months before it wouldnt power back on. It was a waste of money!
