It says this monitor has no borders and is a 27 in. It does have borders and is only 24in., and that includes the border. I am so upset with this false info and I cant send it back because I threw away the packaging when my son set it up. I really despise being ripped off

This monitor is great, the image quality is fantastic and its really sharp considering its 1080p resolution. But theres one problem, the monitor shows no image until my PC boots to windows, if I need/want to access the BIOS I cant, I tried different HDMI cables an even a DP to HMDI cable but nothing works. My PC is not the problem since my other monitor works perfectly and allows me to get into the BIOS, but this monitor shows input signal out of range, I even tried setting the Hz rate to 30 but it seems to be impossible for me to fix this error. Id appreciate if I can get some assistance.

I bought two of these to upgrade off of a hodgepodge pairing of monitors I got through garage sales. After spending a half hour trying to get everything mounted (which is not the fault of the monitors), I have to say that I am pretty impressed. Pros: Very light Very bright Clear and crisp image For the price, you cant beat it Cons: Only comes with a VGA cable (come on Acer, what are you doing?), so you need your own HDMI (or in my case DP/HDMI) cable Power and Menu buttons are on the back, which makes them inaccessible when mounting two monitors next to each other There is this really weird 3D effect along the edges of the monitor. Its not really noticeable during normal use, but it can be noticed if you look right at it.

Day 3 of owning review; firstly the packaging is really nice, it will be shipped in the monitors box but thankfully the monitor is surrounded in foam so thats great. Comes with a round base stand which I did not use and cannot comment on, but it seems to be both metal and plastic and my previous experiences with other ACER stands has been positive. The monitor itself is a great value at the $120 I paid, however out of the box the settings are GROSS and you will need to play wit the settings to get blacker black coloring and brightness where you want it. This monitor can be VERY BRIGHT which is a good/bad thing, brighter screen means more washed out colors and blacks become more gray than black. Thankfully after two days of playing with settings Im happy with this monitor, however it only shows being 60Hz on NVIDIA control panel and NOT 75Hz, that being said this is my side monitor for my 32 1440P 144Hz Samsung monitor so that isnt a deal breaker, even at 60Hz the monitor is decent for gaming/watching content online. If you have a beefy GPU I highly recommend getting a monitor capable of 144Hz or higher, 1440p or 1080p, you will LOVE the butter smooth frame rates for gaming - these monitors are going to be nearly double the price of this monitor though so if youre on a tight budget this will last until you can get a better monitor and you will have this as a side monitor (once you go dual/triple monitors you wont want to go back!)

I have a smaller second monitor of this same brand for my work. When my husband began working from home full time he borrowed my monitor quite often. He works with GIS software, so I got him a second monitor that is bigger than mine so working with maps is easier. I am pleased with my own from this brand, so I thought getting a bigger one from the same brand was a safe bet. Its been great; he really enjoys it. The monitor itself sets up very easily. I just wish that it came with a HDMI double-ended cord since it is HDMI compatible. It doesnt, but one of those cords is about $6 at Walmart. Overall its a great monitor and great for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.
