> 3 daySuch a nice little rig. We dont really need the high refresh rate panel, but the MODERN Ryzen 7 and brand-new RTX 4050 are greatly appreciated. With laptops we prefer to not replace them often since they only do menial work, and this is replacing an old Lenovo with a 4th gen i7. It has been hard finding a reasonably priced 17 inch laptop with worthwhile specs and so far this is handling the job great. I have heard negative things about the Nitro line, but so far I have nothing negative to report. Havent tested it for gaming since it wont be used for that, but I may give it a try eventually in Cyberpunk to see how well the 4050 handle the frame-generation tech.

> 3 dayThis Acer laptop is awesome. I own several Acer gaming laptops and this product adds to my arsenal. It has a wide screen with awesome colors. The solid state hard drive is massive and has plenty of punch for multitasking purposes. The laptop is highly responsive and fast and doesn’t even blink an eye when loading or putting it through heavy usage. Set up was simple enough and as usual lots of updates were required to be downloaded (which is normal) during any setup of a new device. I did not encounter any hiccups just smooth installation! The laptop doesn’t run hot even during heavy usage. The product is heavier than my other Acer laptops but this baby has a much larger screen to view. The keyboard is laid out properly and is very responsive and it has decent speakers to boot. I have played some games on it without any tearing or slowdown. . Boot up time is pretty fast and so far I’m very happy to recommend this product. This product is a great choice for those looking for a nice gaming product. Buy one and be happy!

> 3 daySo I spent 1500 on this. 2 days into owning it. I havent gotten 2 use it yet due to a death in the family so when I set up windows. I installed cod just to pull it up to see the picture quality, and I noticed a red line down the screen and a Grey line going across the bottom. Havent touched it since dealing with the death. So today I woke it from a sleep and typed in pin and when it went into windows. The screen started flashing Grey like a no signal..

> 3 dayIts my first gaming laptop and is awesome. The screen quality is perfect, 144hz are amazing. Ryzen 7 5800H is so fast, rtx 3060 is perfect for all games in 1080p. Temps are ok. RGB keyboard is nice, sound is loud and clear. I love this laptop.

Greater than one weekIt ran games like New World at max settings just fine. Problem is three months in and the GPU started having a critical hardware failure rendering it useless and causing the system to default to the processors Radeon GPU. Specific failure was listed as error 43 in the Windows device manager. Even after fully removing and reinstalling drivers and the operating system the failure still exists which is a sure sign of a physical issue. Thankfully I was within 90 days off purchase and Amazon allowed a return saving me from a $1600 loss. Ive had an Acer Predator helios 300 that had worked for over 5 years no issue so Im not sure if this is a one off occurrence, but buyer beware.

> 3 dayFirst of all, this laptop is built for power, not for portability. To that end, this is definitely on the heavier side, partially because of the size of the screen and the components. This laptop prioritizes cooling of the components over streamlining. The screen does not flip over, and the power port is on the back.

Greater than one weekIve had this laptop for a little over a month now, and it runs really well. Fans are a little loud and I could see scenarios where it could get a little hot if it cant ventilate effectively. It handles virtually everything Ive thrown at it from office work, college stuff, to high end games on max settings.

> 3 dayFrequent Blue Screen Of Death. When I first purchased it, would happen perhaps once a week. After owning it 1 year, it now happens twice a day. BSOD doesnt appear to be related to high computer usage as it is just as likely to happen when idle or watching a YouTube video as it is while playing a game. Never had this problem with any other computer I have owned.
