Greater than one weekYes, its an expensive laptop. This isnt for someone who just wants to surf the internet. This baby is a beast. I play The Sims 4 on it with the highest quality graphics possible, and it runs like a dream. It also looks amazing compared to the 2-year-old MacBook Pro I was previously using. Its a great size - not super portable because its really heavy and large, but that wasnt much of a surprise. I just love this so, SO much. As for battery life, when Im using it for non-gaming, its really long-lasting, but it does use a lot of power when Im playing games, so I need to keep it plugged in.

> 3 dayGreat Gaming PC for those unable to have a desktop computer who still don’t want to sacrifice performance. (So long as the fans have proper clearance) I’ve been using it for a few months with no overheating issues or really any negative experience with the laptop at all! Unfortunately hours before writing this review my laptop managed to find its way out of a moving car window at 15 MPH. After a full test of the laptop theirs no damage to report excepts for some very minor surface scratches. All considered this purchase was well worth the money spent.

> 3 dayFrequent Blue Screen Of Death. When I first purchased it, would happen perhaps once a week. After owning it 1 year, it now happens twice a day. BSOD doesnt appear to be related to high computer usage as it is just as likely to happen when idle or watching a YouTube video as it is while playing a game. Never had this problem with any other computer I have owned.

> 3 daySuch a nice little rig. We dont really need the high refresh rate panel, but the MODERN Ryzen 7 and brand-new RTX 4050 are greatly appreciated. With laptops we prefer to not replace them often since they only do menial work, and this is replacing an old Lenovo with a 4th gen i7. It has been hard finding a reasonably priced 17 inch laptop with worthwhile specs and so far this is handling the job great. I have heard negative things about the Nitro line, but so far I have nothing negative to report. Havent tested it for gaming since it wont be used for that, but I may give it a try eventually in Cyberpunk to see how well the 4050 handle the frame-generation tech.

> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for my Acer Nitro 17 (2016) model. I like this laptop a lot! The charging and HDMI ports in the back are a nice touch. The screen looks great, and the customizable RGB keyboard is fun. I bought this for school work/gaming and I know I wont have an issue doing either with it. Also another nice surprise was how much tension the usb ports had on them. Ive never owned a device that holds onto thumb drives and cables like this thing does! No worries about something coming unplugged accidently.

> 3 dayPurchased this as a work computer to use with zbrush modeling software and it was quickly confiscated by my son. lol. His desktop was getting dated and the fact that this laptop seems to have a more current CPU, GPU and such really got him excited. Once he tried it he fell in love and all the current games are playing for him at full graphical settings. Set it up with an accompanying Acer Predator gaming monitor and it runs even better. Very happy with the purchase and quality of the setup.

06-04-2025I specifically bought a Windows 10 machine, and it was shipped with Windows 11.... aside from that it arrived on time and appears to be as advertised
