It would not turn on or charge right after I pulled it out of the box. What a waste of time and money…

For gaming the system is in a strange place.

I have been using this laptop for a week and honestly find it pretty good. I went through a lot of reviews before making my decision and wanted to add my own for anyone thinking of buying this.

This thing is amazing!

Booted exactly long enough to register it. Never even had the power light come on again. It wasnt the power cord that was my first thought, I already had an I5 version of the Acer Nitro 5 and that one would boot with either cord but this bargain delight wouldnt even light up with either one. Unhappy to the point of disgust, had plans to install an 8 terabyte 2.5 drive as well as my Samsung 970 Pro 2 terabyte in the two open slots. Would be hard-pressed to be less satisfied with a purchase.

if your upgrade to 32gb of ram it will run games better but not needed

Sims games crash sometimes but it’s decent.

Works well. My son is able to game at much higher FPS than ps4 or Xbox. Biggest downside is memory but that can be upgraded.
