> 3 dayThe laptop is well built and performs well for gaming with the 144hz screen, but the screen does have some screen bleed towards the top that isnt noticeable during regular use, unless the screen is black. However, the battery life is horrid, as expected from a gaming laptop and the laptop does not use the GPU for gaming, unless it is plugged in. Frame rate goes down from 144 fps to 30 fps when unplugged from battery, so if that is a concern for you, do not purchase. Also, there would be occasional massive frame drops in games like Fortnite where the fps would drop to 10-30 fps for 3-10 seconds. I fixed this by disabling GameDVR using regedit, which you can search up tutorials on how to do so. Also, its been about 2 weeks and my Black Ops 4 code has still not been sent and I doubt it will ever be sent.

Greater than one weekGreat value and power for the money. Clear 144hz screen. Runs slightly hot but configuration and a cooling pad fixed the issue instantly

> 3 dayI disliked the cooling system, it cannot keep up with high graphic games such as Ark Survival Evolved and Riders of Icarus, I have a separate cooling system but it’s so far not working very well, I’m hoping to grab a high powered one soon. I recommend liquid cooling systems. As you can tell, I’m using the laptop for mostly gaming purposes. Everything else on the laptop is great! Haven’t tried out everything though.

Greater than one weekGreat computer.. 16GB is more than enough to support anygame. There are a couple issues I am having with video playback. Im not sure if its the program I am using (steam) or what but when I try to enlarge a video the background display shows over the video.

> 3 dayThe material that they use to make this laptop is not strong and you can crack the screen quite easily just opening and closing the laptop.

> 3 dayOverall the laptop looks very well put together, the hardware was a great value. However even on the first day after using it for a little while the laptop runs at temperatures near 100 degrees Celsius. Purchased myself a cooling tray to attempt to resolve the issue and it still runs extremely hot. Acer is completely unwilling to resolve the issue without sending the laptop out of state, which would leave me without the device for 2 weeks. I dont recommend purchasing this laptop unless youre looking for a portable furnace, Id look to other laptops.

> 3 dayIts alright for gaming till the heat catches up to it. Frame rate depends on the game. It can go potato on the newer games and ok on the older games. Overall not really a gaming laptop. Its disappointing while gaming. Recently I opened it up to reapply heatsink paste to discover few screws were missing on the fan and tape wasnt sticking to hold the battery wires.

> 3 dayI’ll start by saying I purchased this product on sale, I payed $1011 and for that price you can’t beat it! I mainly payed for the processing power as this has an i7 8750H, Six cores 12 threads! This laptop makes super easy work of writing papers, powerpoints and browsing the web! I’m sure it can do some great photo and video editing as well! I utilize the GPU when I’m between classes and ahead of my assignments, just launch a game and I’m set! Overall excellent laptop for the price I payed! Battery life isn’t good but that’s expected, I get about 3-4 hrs on battery with battery saver on at 50% brightness.
