my screen went black in two weeks .... could be ram also could be worse too. but to have to send it back in two weeks time is a record isnt it. well dont know what else to say, but for the price youd think they would get it right....guess not

I had this machine less than a week when the boot sequence wouldnt launch. Got errors all the time. Mostly due to corruption of files because the machine over heated. In addition to the errors after having it for less than a few days I get an error saying my memory was full?

Acer has really hit it out of the park with their Helios 300 gaming laptop line, in terms of offering high end gaming laptop specs at a reasonable price. This laptop offers both a high end laptop NVIDIA graphics card (RTX 3060) and a fairly high end 11th generation Intel processor (I7-11800H). They include a 144Hz refresh rate FHD display. They throw in a fast 512Gb NVMe boot drive, a Killer/Intel Ax1650i Ethernet/WiFi system, and a generous array of laptop ports. All at a price thats considerably cheaper than competitors are asking laptops with comparable specs.

Spent forever trying to figure what happened to my ethernet connection, tried everything with Microsoft and Acer support. Nothing worked. Have to send my brand new laptop in for a repair and wait two weeks (likely longer because of current shipping in USA.) Not happy with my purchase at all right now.

For a gaming computer when it starts games without restarting it works but for some reason which I can’t figure out it has issues

We had a little glitch with our laptop; Acer fixed it for us super fast! So impressed.

Everything of the laptop almost look perfect to me except a hardware defective. So the issue I had with my laptop is when I plugged in my headphone into the jack, the left side is always not working (apple headphone has no sound while Acrux just has buzzing sound and both headphones work fine on my other laptop) while bluetooth mode fully works. After several hours of research and talking to multiple Acer technician on chat and on phone, we went through several debugging processes like reinstalling the audio drive, checking the balance setting and other properties of headphone, resetting the power and so on. And the final conclusion is there is hardware issue and I need to send the laptop to their repair center (shipping fee is covered, but I have to buy packing materials myself and meanwhile this process might take like 10 days). Though this is not a big hardware defect, it is super inconvenient that I cant use my wired headphone on it.
