> 3 dayI absolutely love this gaming laptop! It’s a monster, I’ve played a lot of games with it so far. Gears 5, Forza Horizon 5, and many other titles. I play a lot of vr as well! It did excellent paired with a oculus quest 2. The laptop is perfect for gaming or work. It has all the speed you need and the software pre installed is very helpful too. Honestly can’t go wrong with this price and with the 3080ti edition, they offer a free NVMe slot! It’s actually not bad getting into it and putting a 2TB storage upgrade. I’m going to be away for home for a while and will update my review whenever I have it on a plane/airport. So far at home, it is a great laptop for home use!

Greater than one weekAcer went all out on the Predator. Nice surprise to see that they used DDR4-3200 (albeit not the lowest latency DIMMs) and a nice fast m.2 NVME drive. High performance CPU and GPU that fit in a nice thin laptop was a nice surprise considering heat dissipation that is required.

Greater than one weekThis may be one of the nicest laptops I have ever had. I’ve never put much stock in Acer brand devices. To me it has just been a lackluster company. But wow! There are so many things I like about this laptop.

> 3 dayIf I’m just writing a lazy letter or polishing off a opponent using the most up to date hardware with a three hundred Hz refresh rate that just gave me the edge to do so. It does both with very little fanfare. There is a reason it’s called a Predator Triton five hundred. with a capital P. It’s on par with other top of the line gaming computers on the market currently. It was easily set up as a computer voice that really puts you at ease talks you through setup. First thought the computer sort of growled and set the keys aflame with fire as they transversed about on the keyboard. It’s a awesome start to what’s going to be a thrill ride to remember. I first called and hammered out the warranty with the company as it is a computer and things do go wrong periodically and knowing what’s expected of me and return policy etc, etc……sooo all that’s in order. Past bad experiences have ingrained warranty fanfare as a first necessity with computer ownership. I’ve been using it for about a week and I’m getting quality performance from whatever I do. If I add a app it just sings and there it is, if I want to cruse through a heavy program that requires a lot of RAM, there it is with just a little a of a whirling blade to be heard. But when I start a game and fast is what’s needed I just kick the Turbo button and I can hear the blades start getting rid of the heat I’m causing during play and at the set point I appointed. Or I leave it to itself to monitor and determine what’s needed automatically. I mostly will be using that because I love set and forget computer automatics because then I can concentrate on other things that have to be done manually and I have to remember them. I could here it cycle without my input during play. The graphics are a definite show pleaser and my eyes were transfixed with solid color rendering that made games and music videos hypnotically additive but very much enjoyable. My thirteen point four inch old laptop just can’t compete with the predator at any level. It’s still a good computer (Yawn) but it’s probably going to get pushed further and further into the back of my closet and as time goes by my future self that now lives in a robot finds it and has a good laugh. In other words the Predator Triton 500 meets the hype I read on it and exceeds it brilliantly. Battery life is what is expected for a gaming laptop of this caliber and if you need more than a few hours of laptop time then pass this one up and I’ve got a thirteen point four inch one with ten hours of battery life for sale. Update (21 September 2020) I’m having a very fun time playing games that require fast paced moving and I’m really having a blast. The resolution and colors make it a pleasure to play. I’m not really bothered by the fans as they work to keep the heat away and for this type of computer it’s expected. It’s a fun computer for a ton of different types of gaming and I can even do my bills blazing fast as well, although THAT just isn’t as fun. Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

> 3 dayChanging my review, great lap top. I did have a couple issues where the keyboard had stopped working, but then started again. A lot of the letters have been rubbed off due to a lot of use, I bought sticky letters to go over the ones that are gone. Otherwise, the lap top itself has been great.
