A lot of people on here are doing too much powerful type of stuff at home with it, the point of this though is its portability and beautiful screen quality + resolution. On the go this is the best laptop out there for the price. Super lightweight + long battery life + great screen and brightness. Its perfect for $~600.

I had several laptops with core i7 chips and this one is the best. My Acer Swift 3 was bought from Microsoft Store. It has a 512 GB Nvme hard drive and 8 GB RAM. Lightning-fast performance in any application, including LightRoom and web applications, was experienced. Restarts from shut down in 4-5 sec. not to mention from sleep. Very happy with the purchase. Great screen too.

In general I am happy with the purchase, the laptop is fast and powerful, a very good alternative for the use that I give it but the battery life is not even close to the 14 hours that the manufacturer promises, the maximum that I have reached to reach are 6 hours of use in simple tasks such as browsing, listening to music and some office automation.

I purchased this computer from Amazon in May 2022. After a few problems with the screen and the charging port, I returned to Acer to be fixed in January. When I had the same problems in March and the computer died, I returned it again to Acer, only to have the computer returned with a note that there was 3rd party defective hardware in the computer and they had to factory reset my computer with their own factory installed hardware which was much less memory than I purchased it for on Amazon. Upon further clarification, I was told it was actually sold through Amazon by a 3rd party - ProElectroInc., which I had not realized when purchasing (I assumed it was through Amazon - I have since learned my lesson). Nobody from ProElectro will return my messages, Acer is saying they are not liable because it was sold by 3rd party, and Amazon will not help me either due to 3rd party seller. So I have a now have a factory reset computer still within my year warranty, with a lower ram/storage than what I paid for, and my documents all on a defective piece of hardware taped to the top of my laptop which I cant access without paying someone out of pocket to retrieve my documents. It looks like ProElectro should be the one to assist in this matter but they will not contact me back and their Amazon seller site just points me back to Amazon, and then Amazon just points back to ProElectro ... a round robin situation where nobody is claiming responsibility or helping fix the solution of the defective hardware. A very frustrating 4 months!

The monitor is great, the size is great, and it seems very fast. I dont like the lack of ports and the quality of the plugs - AC and Thunderbolt output.

PRO-ELECTRONC USES CHEAP SSDS TO UPCHARGE THEIR DEVICES. Device worked fine for a couple of months before I started to get some blue screen errors. My laptop could barely boot up and refused to stay on for longer than 5 minutes. I sent it off to the Acer repair center for a diagnosis and the 3rd party SSD that Pro-electronis had installed failed and my data was lost. Acer replaced the 3rd party 512GB SSD with a 256GB SSD. The money that I paid for the upgrade is also lost. DO NOT BUY FROM PRO-ELECTRONIC. Laptop was good tho other than dealing with shady sellers.

This arrived today, 4/24/23, and Im trying to set it up, but it is missing documentation containing the Microsoft license number. Other than that it looks okay so far but I would like the seller to reach out to me please! The manufacture date of this computer is May 2021. The 3:2 screen is nice.
