I barely used this laptop since I bought it 14 months ago. I started a class online and used it almost daily for a couple months and then it suddenly stopped turning on or charging. Ive taken it to 2 different tech companies, a local one, and Geek Squad. The first guy said the charger was working but he couldnt figure out why the laptop wouldnt charge or turn on and looked for a replacement motherboard but couldnt find an exact match. Next I took it to Geek Squad and they said the charger wasnt producing enough wattage and suggested a new charger but Best Buy doesnt carry their chargers. I looked online for an hour and couldnt find an exact match so I ordered one that looked close and had the same volts and watts. It fit but didnt do anything so Im assuming it has to be the exact charger because GS said they were very proprietary. Next I looked on the manufacturer website but it was still hard to find for some reason!!! I found it but its costing me $40!! For a charger!! And I still dont know if thats gonna work. Since Im just past a year, I cant get support from Acer but they directed me to community support which upon looking into, doesnt look like they supply much support at all. This is the first and last Acer I will ever waste money on!

The monitor is great, the size is great, and it seems very fast. I dont like the lack of ports and the quality of the plugs - AC and Thunderbolt output.

For office work, perfect! large viewing screen for laptop size.

I had several laptops with core i7 chips and this one is the best. My Acer Swift 3 was bought from Microsoft Store. It has a 512 GB Nvme hard drive and 8 GB RAM. Lightning-fast performance in any application, including LightRoom and web applications, was experienced. Restarts from shut down in 4-5 sec. not to mention from sleep. Very happy with the purchase. Great screen too.

A lot of people on here are doing too much powerful type of stuff at home with it, the point of this though is its portability and beautiful screen quality + resolution. On the go this is the best laptop out there for the price. Super lightweight + long battery life + great screen and brightness. Its perfect for $~600.

PRO-ELECTRONC USES CHEAP SSDS TO UPCHARGE THEIR DEVICES. Device worked fine for a couple of months before I started to get some blue screen errors. My laptop could barely boot up and refused to stay on for longer than 5 minutes. I sent it off to the Acer repair center for a diagnosis and the 3rd party SSD that Pro-electronis had installed failed and my data was lost. Acer replaced the 3rd party 512GB SSD with a 256GB SSD. The money that I paid for the upgrade is also lost. DO NOT BUY FROM PRO-ELECTRONIC. Laptop was good tho other than dealing with shady sellers.

Colorful light and portable

Acer swift 3 is slightly longer in size than HP elitebook 13.5 g2 which im not really a fan of. It just reminds me of the old laptops w square screens. On the other hand, I got the thin, light, evo, 512gb, etc. I dont want to return it coz I pretty much set up everything (passwords, configurations, etc). I just dont like the extra inch longer
