There are some important things to remember when judging Impossible films compared to the traditional Polaroid films you may be used to: this is NOT Polaroid film, nor does it pretend to be. None of the components to make original Polaroid film were possible to recreate or reproduce after Polaroid stopped making it and demolished the factories that made the original materials. This is a completely new film from completely new and evolving materials that are COMPATIBLE with classic Polaroid cameras. In about 1/3 of the time it took Polaroid to perfect and release the original SX-70 film and cameras, The Impossible Project has re-invented the process by which the classic integral Polaroid films functioned and has produced a very impressive product in pursuit of saving Polaroid-format analog instant film from extinction.

Im 72 years old and this hot water bottle is a treasure. Ive been suffering residual nerve pain on one side of my face after a Bells Palsy attack, and while pain pills didnt seem to help, hot compresses brought instant relief. But it is a nuisance to soak a cloth in hot water, wring it out, and apply it to my face, only to have it cool off in a few minutes so that the process has to be repeated.

For a toy like this - the main thing to rate it on is - did it make you cum. The answer is yes!

I have owned this brush for just over two years and I am still very happy with it.

Im never in one place for too long, due to military obligations. At first, I was a little shaky paying $2400 for a laptop. Being my first MSI laptop I wasnt sure what to expect. Upon arrival (which was pleasantly quick) I was happy to see that MSI did a fantastic job of packaging. It arrived without a scratch. Set up was decently quick. Once I got past all the initial set-up and adjusting the settings to my liking, I decided to give it a test. I downloaded a few of the newer games I knew would be demanding for a standard laptop. I was honestly shocked to see Fallout 4 (and many other games) run at maxed out settings. Its a whole different gaming experience I never thought Id see. No screen tearing, ultra settings, and the frame rate was fantastic. Honestly better than any previous computer Ive owned. If youre looking for a high end, beast of a gaming laptop. This is it. Look no further.

After much research we went with this travel system for our son, weve been using it for almost 3 months and we absolutely LOVE IT. We did have an issue where we received the same back wheels for the L & R sides, they need to be different in order for the breaking mechanism to slide on properly, but after a REAL quick call to baby trend they sent us a brand new wheel so it worked out just fine....The one thing I LOVE about the infant seat is that it has an adjustment wheel on the back so you can simply turn it to move the straps/headrest part up and down, no hard pulling the straps through then re-looping them to a higher/lower setting. The stroller is super easy fold and open after some practice. GREAT travel system for the money for sure!!...This travel system was made in 2008, and it is new enough to have that latch mechanism for the cars so it is difficult to adjust with an older vehicle, we had to prop the base up with something so that the baby was reclined at the correct position. Thats the other thing, this seat has little holes on the side that indicate whether or not the seat is properly reclined on flat ground.

Ive tried a ton of various teethers, and these hand and foot ones are the only ones my child seems to like! Hell spit out the others or stop gnawing at them after a few seconds, but these will actually seem to satiate him for quite awhile. He seems to prefer when they are frozen to refrigerated, and they freeze pretty quickly (can be unusable in under an hour). My only negative would be that they do also warm up after not too long (however, as these are the only teethers that hell use, I cant knock off a star). Plus, in this set you get four, so you can have a few in the freezer at once to throw into the rotation. I think he likes these because the material is pretty soft and light (even frozen), and both the hands and feet are easy for him to hold and turn around on his own, though not too big as to be uncomfortable for him.

How An EPIRB or PLB Rescue Works

The Anatomy of a Rescue - Stage 1

When activated, EPIRBs and PLBs send a unique distress signal on the 406 MHz frequency to the Search and Rescue Satellites.

Each beacon is programmed with and sends a unique digital code called a HEX ID or Unique ID. The HEX ID identifies the type of beacon and, Search and Rescue use the HEX ID to identify the beacon registration information provided by the beacon owner.

This information can include: who the beacon owner is, the type of vessel the beacon is associated with (for EPIRBs), emergency points of contact, float plans, trip plans, and much more.

The Anatomy of a Rescue - Stage 2

After the satellite receives a beacon signal, it relays the signal to ground stations referred to as local user terminals (LUTs).

The LUT processes the data, computes the location of the distress beacon, and transmits a decoded alert message to its associated national Mission Control Center (MCC). This happens almost instantaneously after the initial beacon signal is received.

The Anatomy of a Rescue - Stage 3

The Mission Control Center then geographically sorts the data, and transmits a distress message to the closest appropriate SAR authority and another MCC if the beacon is registered to another country.

The RCC (Rescue Coordination Center) investigates the beacon alert and launches rescue assets to find the parties in distress.

Rescue Overview

  • 406 MHz Distress Call Is Activated
  • Search and Rescue (SAR) satellites forward distress signal down to earth Ground Stations
  • Ground stations forward the distress to the Mission Control Centers (MCC)
  • The MCC alerts the closest Rescue Coordination Centers (RCC)
  • The RCC call emergency contacts and dispatch the closest SAR teams
  • SAR teams arrive on scene and rescue survivors
  • Worldwide – Over 48,000+ people rescued since 1982
  • United States – 9,753 people rescued since 1982
