22-11-2024I bought these bags for storing my DMC floss for cross stitching. I have purchased these before & they always had 2 holes to put the ring binders through & the skein of thread wasnt bent, it was able to lay flat. These have one hole and its on the side where the opening/seal is. Opening the bag to get your thread, while they are only on one binder ring, they are going to tear. 2 bags tore just putting the floss in. Floss isnt that big. I am really disappointed in the product.

> 3 dayI love these for my floss. The company (thank goodness) never changed thickness of bag. Ive used them for years with no issues.

> 3 dayI use these little baggies to store my DMC thread and they work great. They have a nice little shaded in box for you to write what is contained in the bag and Ive had no issues getting my pen to work on it and not smudge but I dont use markers. I have rings that I use to hold all the baggies and they seem to be holding up well to constant use by me and I am not very gentle with batch. The price may be somewhat high but for the convenience of having it delivered to my door, I think it was worth it.

20-11-2024I got a bunch of these (in use) from my mom, who got them from my grandmother… they’re prob about 20 years old and still holding strong. They were mixed with some non- brand baggies , many of which I have had to replace due to splitting apart. I recently bought new ones. Slight changes, but I anticipate the over all same quality. Change one: the COLOR:_______ line is super close to the top of the white block. I guess they expect you to have little handwriting. Change two: the opening is now the same length on both sides of the baggie kind of making it slightly difficult to open. The old ones had uneven sides which made it easy t separate. Both very minor. And not enough to stop me from buying again

Greater than one weekI feel like these could have been a lot more affordable based on how thin they are but they are working so far. I have two full rings of floss for my current project and the bags are actually holding up ok. Just seems like i could have done the same thing with grocery store snack bags and a sharpie.

> 3 dayIve never used these with the ring. Its too much trouble, especially when you are stitching a pattern with over 53 threads! As the photo shows, I used a shoe box for this one because of the number of threads. I put a piece of foam board between the bags and used it vertically instead of horizontally. When Im working on a smaller project, I use a small basket, and sometimes I use a plastic drawer insert. Whatever works. You can turn the bags vertically if you want and still see the labels. I happen to be using Anchor threads which is why the labels are large. I purchased some blue labels 1/2 x 3/4 the other day and Im handwriting the DMC colors on them. Hope this helps - dont use the ring!
