> 3 daySame item doctor used. I now can change it out in between visits when needed. Cuts easily with scissors to correct shape, stays in place very well in most conditions.

> 3 dayI have been using adhesive felted foam for 5 yrs, to offload both feet, in the heel area. I always get the 900095 by Aetna and it is usually $25-$29. This time I found one for $19.99, also made by Aetna. The description was the same, 1/4 thick & 6 X 2.5 yards. After reading the description, I decided to order it because the only difference I could find was the seller. BOY...was I wrong! First, this stuff is just slightly thinner than 1/4. Its nowhere near as dense as the 900095 that Ive been getting! It does have adhesive on the back and like all these products, its difficult to peal the backing off to expose it. You have to be very careful or you will also peel the adhesive off! So, the sticky-ness is the only thing about this product that I was satisfied with. With the other product, the thickness will hold up well for about 3-4 days. With this one, before the end of the day I had to cut a second layer to put over the first one! It had flattened out to nearly nothing. Although this product was $8 cheaper, I will have to double up and use 2 layers, so its not going to last near as long. If you are using this to pad a shoe or maybe to pad your insole, it might be fine. If you need it for a weight bearing area such as your heal or the ball of your foot, spend the extra $8 and get the 900095!

Greater than one weekI bought this product, for offloading my feet. I’ve been using medical grade felt for years, but my doctor usually gives me large pieces. I’m no longer treating with him, so I purchased this roll. The adhesive is extremely sticky. You won’t have to worry about it coming off. Other reviews state that the felt is too sticky, but I disagree. I had zero problems removing it from my foot. Other reviews also state that they had issues, peeling the backing off. I have never had issues, peeling the backing off. My only issue is the overall quality. Yes, it gets the job done, but it doesn’t hold up for more than one “wear” or day. The felt my doctor gave me, holds up even after many wears. This felt doesn’t keep its shape or sturdiness. I would recommend purchasing and I would buy again, however I would move up, in thickness. You may not need a thicker felt.

Greater than one weekRecommended by my husbands physical therapist, this padding builds up his innersoles where needed and helps to correct his stance. It is easy to cut, but difficult to peel the backing off. Slicing through the center of each piece with a sharp blade helps. With very strong adhesion, the pieces do not shift in his shoes. However, they do pack down in about 2 weeks and need to be removed and replaced. Happily, the roll is long enough to provide many replacements.
