Great hold, you have to let it sit for 24 hours before using. Using to store shampoo bars and body soap.

I have gone through too many rubbery plastic soap holders - all in effort to keep my bar soap from being eaten away by moisture in the shower. What I was looking for & found in this wonderful soap holder, was a holder that allows air flow for drying and at the same time keeps the bar from resting directly on the surface of the shower shelf. The black bars on this holder DO show and retain soap residue, but I rinse it off with every shower spray-down and dont mind the soap bits that remain.

On the wall right out of the box. Still there.

This is so helpful to have for the soap. It allows the soap to dry out & not sit in excess water.

Took advise from a review and used it for this. I also improvised and cut some strips of silicone baking sheet on the bottom and the sides to kill the buzzing sound from the bass against wall
