Needed a sun hat for summer camp and son wanted a bucket hat. The small/medium fits sons 22 inch head well. Perforations help keep it cool. Brim is wide enough to keep sun off face and neck. Choose white to refelect heat, but was orange from red clay dust after 1st day at camp. After 1st week, tossed in the wash, gentle cycle in a lingerie bag, air dried, came out good as new. Best yet, my son loves and wears the hat.
