The aluminum grade rod is perfect for my use. Along with the hand level I use, I am able to quickly take measurements to check roadway grading without setting up a full level.

We left our older high end rod on site, which disappeared, so I ordered this for a temp rod.

I bought it and they shipped it. I like the way it telescoped to about 2 ft. The case is handy also. Pleased with the purchase.

Works great

I gave this grading rod a 3 star because where the plastic parts where the rod extends makes the laser receiver hard to get clamped on the rod when the elevation lines up with the plastic it kicks the receiver sideways and makes it hard to get an accurate shot but with that being said its a good quality rod but I recommend spending the money and getting the higher qaulity grading rod it will definitely save time when shooting multiple elevation s
