Works great on non ferrous metals and also plastic materials. Very comfortable grip. Definitely my go to tool for all deburring jobs!

I work in a machine shop, this product is a decent value. I DEBURRED AN ENTIRE iron V10 engine block without issues on a single tool head. Did exactly what it was designed for. Are there better cuttinf bits out there? Probably.. but for the money. Zero complaints. Comfortable for my size hands too.

I have this tool and also a 5 splined one and the 5 splined works better for my application. This one can catch sometimes and dig a bit too deep. The 5 splined type gives a shallower but more uniform cut per 360° rotation. This means you need a couple more turns but you end up with more consistent chamfers. This tool might be a better choice though if you want quick deep chamfers that arent perfect.

With the sub zero temperatures weve been experiencing here in January 2022, de-burring is greatly desired. Oh, but youre right... this tool set does absolutely nothing for weather conditions. For removing the burrs on drilled holes in metal along with milled edges on bar stock, this is a great set.

I have only used this on wood and it works well.

I usually do good then bad. Im going to reverse this. BAD: I read another review that said the storage space inside the handle was too small to hold the blades. That is NOT true. That user just didnt know what they were doing. In the end cap that is removed to access the storage there are slots, about 10 of them, to hold blades. If blades are seated in those slots the storage area holds them just fine. If instead the user just tries dumping them into the storage area, they ARE too long. Dont do dumb & itll hold the blades just fine. There is an issue, though, with the storage. The release buttons are positioned so that it is nearly impossible to remove the end cap. You have to push both buttons & then pry the end cap off. If youre fingers were the size of chopsticks, yet you had the strength of a grown man, itd be fine, but even tiny fingers are far too large to push the buttons. The surrounding plastic prohibits it. I got around this by pushing on each button alternately with a tiny screwdriver, forcing it incrementally one side, then the next, then back again, until I got it out. So that I dont have to repeat this ridiculousness I put the cap back in without allowing the buttons to protrude in their designated slot. Now I just have to pull the cap off to access the storage area. The blades arent labeled, nor is there a spot to hold one set of them, making the whole blade storage pack seem lack an afterthought from a hung-over designer whos head hurts too much to do anything useful. The system that allows you to extend the blade also allows you to retract it so far you cant change the blade. Its easily remedied, but is still a dumb design flaw. The mechanism for extending the blade is very stiff & hard to activate. GOOD: Ergonomic. Feels pretty good in my hand. Extended reach feature is snazzy, locking in place at set intervals, and extends quite far. It seems like a decent value, but longevity of the blades is yet unknown.

This countersink tool is perfect. Comes with two different size countersinks and has a metal hex shaped post. The handle is a mixture of plastic and metal with a spring lock for the post chuck. The bits are M2 tool steel and have a nice cutting edge. Been deburing M1, M42, and D2 tool steel parts and bit tip seems to be holding up nicely. The hex post can also be put into an electric drill for more power uses. Bottom line this is a great tool for the price and a nice addition to my debur tool set. Will likely be buying another for my home shop.
