These headphones are the best ive ever used, my ears dont like earbud-type headphones and over-ear are sometimes too clumsy to wear around, these ones are so comfortable to wear that you just forget that you have them on, seriously, twice i thought i had lost them only to find that they were still on. They are excellent for video conferences and doing sports outside as they dont completely isolate you from the external world (dangerous!), the sound quality is also excellent and well balanced across the spectrum.

Well, it has taken me some time to decide that I like these and will keep them. My biggest issue was my misconception of what these headphones are and what they excel in doing. First what they are NOT. These are NOT audiophile quality headphones, these are NOT noise cancelling headphones, these are not for “Bassheads” who crave thunderous bass, these are NOT a substitute for a good replacement for a hands free phone interface. What these excel for are maintaining situational awareness of your surroundings. With these you can run or exercise outside while hearing cars/bicycles etc around you, you can listen to music which performing chores at home without missing the important requests of your significant other, you can listen to music and listen for the baby or your child to call for you. If you understand this you will love the headphones. One annoyance I discovered its with use with tightly fitting winter cap. The cap rubbing on the Aeropex seems to cause them to disconnect from the source, other than this they do work well while you work out. Finally, I think people will be disappoint using these extensively as a phone hands free device, the audio just isn’t as good as a dedicated ear piece. Hope this help you make your decision.

Definitely some things I really like: Pros-light weight, water resistant (I go swimming with them on), great for work outs and no worries about perspiration, soft on the head and wrap around the ears. The magnetic charging cord is awesome....simple and locks right in to charge.

I had to get used to “feeling” the bass. But I love not having to worry about pods falling out of my ears.

I’ve been using the older Air model for about a year now and really loved them. I have some hearing loss and I found it so much easier to make out conversations over the phone or podcasts using them. Not to mention that I can have music on and not be shut off from others... I still have situational awareness unlike regular headphones or earphones. Two days ago I received my new Aeropex and this is even better! The smaller size on the temples makes them even easier to forget they are there and the description that there is less vibration is spot on. I can say the sound quality is good and a little better then the Air but I’m not wearing them for high resolution audio. The music quality is still dang good and more then enough to make me smile because, all considered, the multiple upsides outweigh a little fidelity loss. If I want knock your socks off music quality I’ll get my tube amped sennheiser open air headphone system out and use them... but that system is far from portable.

The mic didn’t work and my customers said that I sound like I am underwater. Amazon would not help me since it was past the 30 day warranty. Lucky I had Asurion insurance. Aftershock wanted to send me another pair after their customer service admitted that the mic in this model is a problem and the company is working to find a solution. It is a Mfg defect. They still would not give me my money back. The best that they could do was give me an Amazon gift card for the purchase price. I want my money back. Do not buy these. See the other reviews saying the same thing.

Just have to chime in on the UI beep. I keep these on a lot and go between using the YouTube music app, Ubereats and YouTube. I don’t always have music playing. When I don’t, the headphones emit a very loud BEEP no matter what volume I have it on. It makes me want to rip them off my head and throw them away. The last pair didn’t do this and I wish I never “upgraded”. I DONT NEED THESE HEADPHONES TO BEEP AT ME RANDOMLY. ITS EXTREMELY ANNOYING. And it’s not because they lose connection, because they are in close proximity to my phone all the time. NEVER BUYING ANOTHER ONE OF THESE EXPENSIVE HEADPHONES UNLESS I KNOW THEY HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE!!!!

5 hours of use has left me impressed enough to write a review for this product. I really enjoy listening to music throughout my day but usually dont want to play it aloud and also tend to get anxious when Im out and about with headphones on and cant hear whats happening around me, so these are perfect.
