Sturdy polyester weave and intelligently designed pockets with separate compartment for one pair of shoes. Shoe compartment has 2 vent holes perfect for shoes. It would be nice to have feet or extra protection on the bottom of the bag but we’ll see if it makes a difference as the bag seems very well made. Love the gray/blue color, seems more steel blue than gray but very handsome with the leather-like highlights.

Having late teen kids is generally good, but mine are always absconding with our luggage. The latest was the loss of my favorite mid-sized soft bag. I have to say getting this mid-sized as a replacement was fortuitous. I am fairly rough and tumble with my luggage and this is a very robust and well-made bag. In terms of materials, the outer heavy nylon material is heavy duty. And it is fully lined, with the lining looking like it will hold up well. All the seems are well sewed, the spots that need reinforcing are reinforced with a bed. Zippers are high quality. The leather accents look quite good. They are not over the top, but do change this from a plain Jane bag to one that looks smart and tasteful. Measurements are: 20” long, 13” high and about 11” wide. People pack differently bu this is a good casual long weekend trip bag for me. It is a good size for airline carry-on. The bag has one zippered internal compartment, one zippered external compartment, and four unzippered external compartment. It also has a shoe/worn clothes compartment, which can extend in or out of the bag. Extended out, which I would not do for a flight, but would for a car trip, the bag becomes about 13 inches longer. The shoulder strap is well padded. I would not call this a “gym bag.” The presence of leather and the nylon outer shell being heavy duty mean you cannot throw it in the washer. And frankly this is too elegant for the gym. But as a piece of of sided and well-made luggage, it is well above most in its class in terms of build quality and looks.

VERY impressed by this weekender bag. Its spacious and seems durable. The material is almost like a canvas, and the black color is rich. Theres plenty of space in the bag, and its well constructed. What I love is that the bag has a structured base, which gives it a more luxury appeal rather than just a standard, one pocket duffel bag. The carrying strap is well padded, and the connecting hooks are made from a high quality metal, not plastic. Ill pretty stylish rolling up to my next hotel stay with this bad boy!

This is a good looking, well constructed travel bag. It’s surprising how sturdy it is. The outside accessible shoe compartment separates clean clothes from other dirty or soiled items. Nicely padded shoulder strap is comfortable when used. There are multiple outside pockets that are useful. I would have liked to have them a little larger and/or a couple of small ones combined. Not a deal killer. This replaces an old, shiny vinyl athletic duffel bag that wasn’t appropriate for over night or trips and is a nice upgrade.

This is a very nice quality and sturdy bag. The moment you touch this bag you realize that it is not a cheap bag. The bag has many pockets inside and outside of the bag. I like that there is a shoe compartment within the bag and it also is vented. The strap for the bag is well padded. While you can use this bag for a gym bag, I would not. It is too fancy for that and I believe this bag is better suited for travel. Either way, you cant go wrong with this bag no matter how you use it. It did not disappoint me.

It has lots of room and is really attractive. Very nice for a weekend out.

This is a large, sturdy duffel bag/luggage piece! It is grayer in color than it looks in my photo. (It is also darker than it looks on the website). It’s a nice, thick fabric. When I ordered it, I was hoping to replace a damaged piece of luggage from a recent trip – but honestly I didn’t think it would be sturdy enough to go into “checked luggage”, but I now think it absolutely is rugged enough for the treatment our last bag was subjected to (our older, name-brand bag, failed miserably). It is time to try something new. It also meets most airline size requirements for carry-on bags. This bag has a large main compartment, with options for inside and outside storage pockets, many with zippers. In my photos I filled the bag with a queen-size pillow and two accent pillows just to show it fuller. It can hold so much! There is a large shoe compartment on the side which, when used, takes up a lot of the inside space – but this keeps everything else clean and smelling fresh – so it is a win! Great for use as a sports bag or a travel bag. I needed the bag for airline travel but could see it being used for car trips or as an overnight bag with plenty of storage for kids or pets. The shoe compartment could also be used for a wine or champagne bottle on a cruise ship (they allow one or two bottles per cabin). This would keep glass and liquid separate from clothing in any unfortunate circumstance (just my immediate observation – I haven’t tried it yet). I love the easy-to-clean fabric and the size of this bag. I will definitely be using it myself. I am hoping that my husband or adult son don’t steal it from me before I get the chance to enjoy it a few times! This is a rugged, attractive, and useful bag. I am very happy with it!

I put this bag to the test last week on a cross-country flight that involved one layover in a huge airport. I struggle to fly just carry-on, I typically check my bag, but I thought Id give it a try. I found that this bag fits loads of stuff, more than my husbands wheeled carry on bag even though the dimensions are smaller. I was fine squeezing all my stuff in this bag, but over the course of the trip, I found I really missed having a wheeled bag! This bag was quite heavy to lug around, and I ended up pulling my husbands bag while he carried mine. For reference, Im in my mid-50s and I struggle with tasks involving upper body strength. For someone like me, a wheeled bag is probably better but if you have average strength, you should be just fine. This bag appears quite durable, though Ive only used it for the one trip so far. It did have an odd scent when I first opened it upon arrival in the mail, kind of like a chemical fish market mix. However, that smell did not transfer to my clothes in the bag (I packed it the same day I received it). I like the separate compartment for shoes, it took up less space than I thought it would (I wear a womens size 9 shoe and had a pair of athletic shoes in it). I am sure I will get good use from this bag as long as I am not required to lug it around a huge airport!

Nice sized Bach! Sturdy handles and easy zip up! Nothing bad at all for this only good things as it does what it is meant to do.
