Used this on an 81 KZ440 to help preserve the life of the tach and speedometer cables.

I use this product to lubricate door hinges which it does an extremely good job at. No more complaints from the girlfriend about squeaky doors, YAY!

Did not lubricate better than other lubes I have used.

Used to be able to buy this stuff in any automotive shop or hardware store. Now you have to go out of your way to find it. I got it to lube the tachometer cable on my Cessna 182 because the tach had a nervous needle. Pulled the cable out and squeezed a generous amount in to the cable guide from the top. Ran the cable in and out a few times to distribute it over the cable and guide and then added more oil for good measure. Yes, its messy. Put everything back together and the tach needle has been steady ever since.
