When I ordered these, this listing was for three inserts and no box. Thats what Im (and several others) are reviewing. I measured the width on these and they matched my standard-sized scratchers, so I got these as replacements. What I didnt check was the length — they are about an inch too short. Ill have to wedge them to use them, but my cats probably wont care. They love cardboard scratchers, so these will make the run through the claw-mill and scatter their ashes throughout the house, and my cats will love it, and I will tolerate it. :)

Both my 3 cats love it! One uses only the scratches that I disposed all over the house and the other uses to sleep. Very good quality !!!!

My cats had another scratching pad that was a bit better quality. The cardboard was a little denser. However, it cost about twice the price of one of these pads. So, for the price, Im pretty happy with this pack. Now that I have five of them, I can spread a few about the house. Also, the images shown depict the item exactly. You shouldnt be disappointed when you receive it. Too often the product doesnt seem to match the photos provided but thats not the case with this item.

These cardboard panels are double-sided essentially, so we get 2 uses out of each one. The value is the best Ive found yet since my cats prefer the cardboard scratchers. We took the first few layers out so the cardboard shreds would be more likely to stay in the box.

It seemed to me that the box the scratching pad lies in would be too small to accommodate my medium sized, but plump Musidora. But she absolutely loves it! Now she spends much of her time alternately resting in it or scratching it to shreds. I think there may be two styles of cat scratching: vertical and horizontal. The cats I have lived with before Musidora have either enjoyed or been indifferent to traditional scratching posts. Musidora seems to swing both ways: she can really party with her scratching post, but I think her real passion lies with horizontal scratching. She has always liked to scratch our carpet, and now she delights in her new scratch pad and box, cramped as the box may seem to a biped. But only a cat can kno what delights it.

Most cats love scratchers. These are scratcher refills for the large sized box scratchers. This is the first time Ive found a package of 5. They are a little thinner than the pads Im used to, but they work just Perfectly. Both sides are able to be scratched, so after a side is scratched up you can just flip it over. Catnip makes the scratcher even more appealing for the cat. Mine like to scratch on these and sleep on them. I have two out at all times for my 5 cats. Im fostering a kitty that was declawed a long time ago and she likes to scratch on them to. This value pack is really an awesome value and Im so glad I found out about it

A nice pack of cat scratching boards. They are thinner and smaller than some in the store but my cat did not care. I found placing them strategically throughout the house worked great, as he had access to scratch HIS things whenever he wanted. No more scratching human things!

You have a cat, or three. You need cat scratch pads. Here you go. These are no frills scratch pads. No included extra catnip to rub on the pad to encourage your cat to use it. No cardboard tray to place the pad inside. Just a bare scratch pad. Well, five of them. They are also a bit shorter (length and width) and thinner than the typical scratch pad. For me thats just fine. For the price, these five pads are very good value. I have my own cat nip to rub on them. I have my own cardboard tray to place each. Scratch away!! Five stars.

The cats liked them once catnip was added, before they ignored the scratch pads. Nice size, the depth of the pads is good & the price is great! No unpleasant odors to the cardboard. Will buy again.

I have 4 cats who love to scratch up my kitchen chairs. I got these with the hopes that they would use them instead. It took a little while, but eventually they got the hang of it, and now its all they use! I took some nice double sided tape and put it on the back of the scratching board, then put them in the places where they like to scratch and claw. The one in the picture is right by my kitchen next to their catnip things. If you have cats, I highly recommend you getting these because my cats not only use them for scratching, but they will also lay down and sleep on them too. With all the damage that these 4 can do, I still have yet to have to replace one, so you can tell that they are definitely durable and made with good material. Because trust me, these 4 can do some serious damage!! If you have a furbaby, I would definitely get these and save your furniture from further damage. I promise your cats will love them.
