> 3 dayKayla chews a lot, so I needed to find something sturdy she could work on that would last more than a couple of days. This thick rope that has a metal rod within it for shape is the best I have found. She goes through one of these in about 45 days. Our bird loves to climb within the circular spiral and chews this toy from top to bottom. I would not only buy it again, I buy them regularly!

> 3 dayAt 1 and 1/8th inches in diameter, this spiral rope is more fun to take a bird nap on than stationary perches are. (think of a bird on a tree limb, swaying in the breeze). Gives Neon, my Alexandrine, something different to think about. He uses it to clean his beak and mark his territory, too, both healthy activities for a parrot. Be sure to regularly clip off the broken strings your bird will leave, so toes cant get hung up in them!

> 3 dayI’m having to send this back because the medium is way too big for my cockatiel. Maybe if you have a macaw or something this would be good, but for a smaller bird, get the small.
