AimHD 20 Pack Female Power Pigtail DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm Connectors Upgraded AWG for CCTV Surveillance Security Camera System and Led Strips Transformer Connection

This item performed spot-on for purpose I purchased it for, at way below price.

TL:DR, These are likely 24 awg which means they are not even close to being 5A cables. Value goes down drastically because of this. The ones I got differ from the listings pic. Review: I had been previously buying similar pigtail plugs from another Amazon listing but the price for those were a little high. They were much closer to 18 awg and very similar to the ones in the pics used for this AimHD brand listing. I actually used more of the Female plugs than I did the male plugs so I decided to look for a listing for a large number of these for a lower price. Unfortunately, these AimHD cables are much thinner than I was expecting. I was going by the 5 Amp pic, the listings pic of a 6 sided connector, and someones review or Q&A that suggested that these were 18 awg. Based on the .5 to .6 mm diameter, these are likely 24 awg, rated for 3.5 amps. In my pics, you can see the ones I had previously been buying, on the right, which look just like the listing. The ones I received is on the left with the very segmented design. I also measured it to see it only measured around .5 mm. I am not going to keep these because I wanted something that can really handle 5 amps with less risk of melting.

So glad I ordered this just what I needed and very durable. Well made. Would order again if needed it again

Nice long leads, Wire to pin attachment is vary string. Im using them in led light boxes.

MISLEADING PRODUCT POST!!! Before 3V/4A was applied: Temperature per FLIR was ~55F After 10 seconds of 3V/4A was applied: Temperature per FLIR was ~89.3F Do NOT apply 5A, unless you want a fire on your hands.
