Greater than one weekThis thing puts out a lot of juice. I didnt measure or test it, I just plugged it in and Ive had people comment on how fast their device charged in just a few minutes riding with me. It is by far the heaviest 12v adapter Ive used, which indicates that it is made from heavy-duty components. It seems to be 2-3x heavier than the weak charger it replaced. Id buy it again!

> 3 dayI bought this charging port so that I could add an additional USB port. Build: When I got this in the mail and opened it, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. It is heavy and feels much more solid than I expected. Charging: I haven’t noticed any difference in the speed of charging, however it charges both my GPS and phone at normal speed. Display: The power display is a nice little bonus on this! Good to know the output of your battery. Just know that if you are leaving both ports plugged in you won’t be able to see the display, but not a huge deal either way.

Greater than one weekI installed this product, but it works unreliably. The problem is the spring-loaded center contact ball. The spring is so strong it pushed the charger back out of the socket. I am returning it because I this design flaw.

> 3 daySo far it works really good. I have only tried charging with one USB connected but it seems to show an accurate charge and reflect the power being produced by the truck.

> 3 dayA good USB charger with secondary feature of displaying what your alternator is putting out at any given time. Has already helped me diagnose a bad alternator! As others have noted, it does slide out of the aux socket. Probably due to the metal construction and having a bit more mass than the socket was made for. So it would actually be improved by being plastic and not metal. It stays fine in a vertical socket, but will work itself loose in a horizontal one. If you can see it, youll notice the display is out and just push it back in. But if its out of the way you wont notice till your phone goes dead from lack of charging!

> 3 dayWorks perfectly with both mine and my husband’s phones in the truck. I like the dual ports and it charges very quickly. Very heavy duty too.
