Was easy to remove old filter and install this replacement.

The filter is not really like a Dyson filter but I guess it’s OK.

WHAAAAAA? Since I am no design engineer and have no idea of the specs, I say it is perfect. From a laymans point of view, I offer the following: you get 2 for the price of 1 of the OEM. Nuf said. Revision 10/5/19. This is my third time purchasing these. I bought 10 because of the price drop!!! 3 x 5 Star reviews= 15 stars!!

I rarely leave bad comment to any product. But for this one, I feel I should let everyone who try to buy to think again before purchasing. My Dyson machine notified me to change filter and it was out of order on their website, so I came to Amazon. This product was good in every aspect, except the SIZE. It is half centimeter off and I could barely close the top. It worked for some time (total of less than 30 hours）and since the top wasnt (couldnt ) close properly due to the height difference, the changing filter sign was on all the time. I didnt care since it worked. However, soon, the machine gave me a red warning of changing filter immediately, scared the hell of me, the warning was so red, like Red Skull popped up in front of Captain America! I stopped it right away and ordered the original one. I waited for about three weeks and it just came today. I took a photo to show the difference. I wish the merchant can somehow improve their product, after all, the price is very ideal. But if it doesnt work, then, it wouldnt be useful after all.

I’d prefer just to stick with the dyson replacement for the dyson product, but that’s not my wisest financial decision at this point in time. This replacement does the job. It’s slightly more difficult to install and uninstall, but not by much. And it was quicker to fill up/need a replacement than the name brand, but with the lower cost it is ok.

Dont buy this. I got lured by the low cost and Amazon endorsement. Instead, the low quality of the filter causes it to disintegrate when the heater function is used. The particles ended up getting into my motor and causing damage. I now get the H2 error. I have taken the whole thing apart, cleaned the filter, etc etc as shown online in the YT videos. No go. Today, I went in to a Dyson service centre. They said that the motor is damaged. They no longer manufacture that motor. So the only recourse is buying a new Dyson. OMG. So, long story short, the low-grade Amazon filter damaged the motor. Now I need to buy a new Dyson. This will cost $500 to replace. Wow. This filter is not worth it in the long run.

Since putting the filter in the filter change light will not go off, as if it needed changed. I dont know if this filter is thicker and this dyson is telling me it needs changed. I am still using it and it is doing the job, but the reminder light is annoying that I cant get it to turn off.
