Aircraft Tool Supply Safety Lock Wire (.032)

Good wire, as far as I can tell. It has worked well so far as safety wire and binding wire on a couple of projects. However, there was a snag / snarl in the wire that forced me to pull the can apart and un-screw the birds nest while I was right in the middle of a project. The few feet of wire I threw away is no big deal, but the time cost me more than the spool of wire. Whomever spooled this wire and put it in the all can screwed up owes me half an hour of high-value time. Therefore, I must give 3 stars where I would have preferred to give 5. Fair is fair.

This stuff works amazingly well for fastener retention, fashioning hooks and clamps, and generally making life easier. Recommended (with a pair of linemans pliers) for every garage.

The wire is definitely steel; I tested it with a magnet. Theres a handy clip on the canister if you want to hang this off of your belt or something. The wire is currently keeping stuff from flying off of my motorcycle at 125 mph, so Im quite pleased with it.

I purchased this wire to use on my sons racing go-karts as several bolts are required to be safety-tied. This wire is easy to handle, pass-thru the bolt holes, and twist. I will be running the kart this weekend which will test the security of the wire from vibration and rattling loose. Overall very happy with the product. As I pulled the wire out of the container, at no point was the wire kinked in any way.

Easy to use . Just what I was looking for. I will be buying more soon.
