> 24 hourI needed two mainspring clamps for an antique clock. Amazon sells them in sets of four, four different sizes in one set. Only one of the four fits my springs so I’d have to buy two of those sets. Kinda annoying to have buy eight clamps, six of which are useless to me, just to get the two I need. Lucky I found these rings. Just cut out a 90 degree section, sand off the burrs, and away you go. They are polished smooth, no damage to the spring, and as a bonus they won’t rust. I hope this helps any amateur clock repairers out there.
