Worthless design the cam does not sit snug in the case I had to wedge cardboard in it so my can would fall out. To boot it’s just a hard plastic shell that doesn’t do much to keep the elements out. Bring back the old silicone style from the version 2 cam those were snug and keep moisture out.

These are semi-protected outside. They will get some snow, some rain, and some sun. My guess is they will last the life of the camera, and will provide adequate protection. Super easy to install, and easy to adjust.

Great camera, I have three in my home and would recommend it where you have access to a power supply. You can use a USB cable with a longer lengths if needed. A thin USB cord can be run through most windows and doors to allow placing the camera inside/outside the home. This is a better option than battery cameras with lower resolutions if you have flexibility with placement.

It fits fine however however the material is not sturdy the base is plastic and is cracked already without a camera even in! Unfortunately its outside of the 30 day return and I cannot return it also there is only a plastic clip on a front piece so water can still get into the camera yes that would probably with this clip on cover provide a clear picture But I have multiple cameras in the window with the section cut mount and I actually dont have any issue with degraded quality in fact it looks nearly the same this item should have a different design Because it definitely feels like it will crack or break

The factory mounts on the V3 are a joke for outside mounting. If you plan on putting your camera outside, this mount is a must have.

Ease of setting up. Could use a little longer cord to go from corner ceiling wall to outlet.

Unfortunately the accessory ordered came incomplete and until it will be sorted out ..... i hope a lot of time will be lost before cameras are installed and the free... cloud subscription will evaporate.

Research Wyze and how their cameras could be hacked, how they knew about it and how they did nothing to fix it nor let their customers know. Garbage.
