good quality tool

Larger than I thought but worked great in its first job.

I tried two different kinds of these before I purchased this one. The first was from the hardware store and the second from the auto parts store. Neither could hold the tiny (vehicle wire from harness) that I needed to test and they ended up slipping off when trying to pierce the wire or I was just unable to place the probe deep enough into the wire. This one has a curved area that traps or holds the wire while it it pierced, which easily worked right away.

Without looking at the light it makes a sound to tell me if its good and when checking fuses under the dash that helps

Works exactly as Id expected. Would recommend!

Although I dont recommend using this if you are inexperienced, it worked great. The long probe is great for testing lights in hard to reach places. I recommend it to any professional mechanics tool box.
