Youll never regret paying a few more dollars for this bit. I have been using it now for several weeks as my go to bit for every v-carve and it performs flawlessly. Works so well that sometimes (depending on the species of wood), I dont even have to do any finish sanding. I use it for mostly exotic hardwoods and its still as sharp as when I bought it. Ive tried many different brands of bits but this one has been superior to them all so far.

I use these on an almost daily basis to carve custom signs.

Was excited to step up to a 1/4 60 degree bit from 1/8. This bit only last one sign cutting yellow pine. Broke one minute into the second sign. My 1/8 bit cut 22 signs so far and is still going strong with the same settings. Bit is junk as far as I am concern. Waste of my money and time.

Ok, first time using one of these. I made a few test cuts on oak with lettering. they were small letters and it worked great. So I decided to try some bigger cuts and it had no problem cutting 1/4 in deep in a single pass with no burning of the wood or chatter. I was cutting at 400mm a min and it worked great

I used this bit to do inlay. It’s very sharp and cuts awesome

My carving live has changed since buying this bit. Sharp and long lasting. 100s of carve on it so far.
