Amazon Basics 3 Speed Box Fan, 20-Inch

I own several box fans from various brands already and this has been the worst one so far. It felt cheap as soon as I pulled out of the box. The power chord is not only very short but is mounted about half-way up the fan, which means you have to drape it down losing several inches. After just one night of use it started rattling. I bought this mainly for white noise and its completely useless now. Gave it an additional star because the sound it produced was nice while it lasted.

The level three speed on this….is the level one speed on a Lasko 20 inch box fan and this was only two dollars cheaper. I’m not happy about it. Only decent thing was easy to assemble. I am hoping this fan will tie me over for the summer. It’s blowing air and doing its job. Thanks.

This fan is waaaaay too quiet. I was hoping to get an inexpensive fan for white noise but even on the highest setting it barely emits any sound. It also rattles and I just got it. 2 stars because the air output is decent.

Light weight. Moves a considerable amount of air.

Move a lot of air. I have had this fan for almost a year now and so far it has been good the quality isnt anything to brag about but it gets the job done.

We purchased this box fan to help circulate air conditioned air throughout our RV. On high speed we can feel it blowing air for about 14 feet. It blows almost constantly every day throughout this summer heat. It is not as noisy as metal box fans, and I do not think that its motor is quite as strong as the fans from my childhood made in the USA. However, this fan has taken some spills, run a LOT, and is doing a great job. I like that it is light weight and easily portable. You will need to attach its two feet on the bottom of the fan -- very easy to do. I do recommend this fan, and yes I would purchase it again.

Its a box fan that does box fan stuff. Plug it in and turn it on and air moves. A miracle of modern science. Pro tip: if you need the air to blow in a different direction, simply turn the fan in that direction.

Were very impressed with this fan. Despite its slim profile, its very stable, and generates a good and quiet air flow. And because of its slim design, it takes up less space than most other 20 fans, and costs less.

Works good, durable, not for FAN people who need wind and noise.
