Amazon Basics 9-Inch Magnetic Torpedo Level and Ruler, 180/90/45-Degree Bubbles

This is the perfect size for my needs. It fits into a basic toolbox, but doesnt weigh it down. Its short, which is useful to me because it fits into spaces the huge ones just wont, and its very easy to read. Looks to be as accurate as described. Truly, its exactly what I was hoping it would be. Thank you, AmazonBasics! Again.

Excellent very sturdy and well made.

Accurate and sturdy aluminum level. It has a magnetic edge if you are working with ferrous metal. I accidentally dropped it and it survived a four foot drop test , none the worse for wear. A nice, all around, general purpose level.

There are many pluses to this handy, small, basic level. First, of course, is its size, which easily fits into my husband’s travel tool box, which he likes to bring with him when we travel to our kids’ house, where there are always small fix it jobs to keep him occupied. Second, and most important, is it’s accuracy, which he has found to be good. Third, the magnet built in makes it easy to judge the straightness of an upright. Finally, he finds it quite easy to read. Given the low price, this is a good buy.

Hard to get an accurate measurement. There are no flat surfaces on this level; this makes it nearly impossible to get an accurate level reading.

Nice level. 15 1/2 long. Mostly metal with rubberized end-caps. well-balanced so it stands easily on its side or ends. Medium weight so it is stable. Easy to read.

You can find yourself going through a number of levels over the course of a lifetime of projects. They will lose accuracy as the gauges move and the narrow edges will get damaged. You might be tempted to purchase the lowest priced level on the rack but give this option a close look. This is a beefy, well-constructed and protected level in a size that makes it useful in situation where a smaller level wouldn’t work and your three foot and longer tools too large. The all-aluminum body is lightweight but strong and it stands on an inch-wide edge reducing the need for balancing. Built into the bottom edge is a pair of strong magnets which make the level hands-free when working with metal projects. Each of the bubble tubes in encased in plastic to protect them on the job and in your tool bag. A quality tool at a fair price.

I really like this level. The top view bubble makes reading so easy from above. I often have to bend to see the bubble on my other levels, as the top is not exposed.
