Greater than one weekThis is quite an imposing level--very heavy duty. It has three windows, depending on what you are leveling. And its magnetic, so if you are working with a metal item such as an appliance or metal cabinet, it will stay in place without holding on to it. I would recommend this basic level: its sturdy, magnetic and functions well.

23-11-2024Got this to replace a flimsier torpedo level. Though this unit is plastic as well, it’s seems stronger and more durable than the old one. It looks like it should hold up better. I like the aluminum-wrapped edges along the top and bottom. The positives end there, unfortunately.

> 3 dayThis is fine, but there are some “fraction of a cent” things omitted that blow my mind. The most glaring example - including inch markers to make measuring easier. Any comparably priced level has this, and not having it make everything significantly harder.

Greater than one weekNice level. 15 1/2 long. Mostly metal with rubberized end-caps. well-balanced so it stands easily on its side or ends. Medium weight so it is stable. Easy to read.

> 3 dayWhile this may not be suitable for a professional carpenter, its plenty good enough for most do it yourself jobs around the house. Its light weight, small ,and seems like it will hold up to some abuse.

26-11-2024Actually use the magnetic portion of this more than I thought I would. Little bit heavier than a few of my other ones but not enough to outweigh the convenience of the magnet. Im a plumber and I enjoy this little level. Great for the price.

Greater than one weekIt works okay, but the magnet came off of mine within the first day of using it. The glue just wasnt that good.

Greater than one weekI am a big fan of torpedo levels. For one the size is great for getting into tight spots. Also, because most of them have a magnet, that comes in SO handy some times. For instance, I install a lot of metal drawer slides and a torpedo level is perfect to set on top to get the slides just right.

> 3 dayThis is a terrific small level thats only 9 inches long, and its perfect for such things as making sure picture frames are level, or ensuring small woodworking projects are properly horizontal/vertical. It may be small, but its not a toy. Its a tough tool made of solid impact plastic and has metal-clad long surfaces for durability and consistent straightness. There are the full complement of 3 air bubbles for horizontal, vertical and 45 degree checking. The ends of the level are black rubber that will withstand being dropped, and you wont be gouging your wood or drywall with a sharp metal end—a nice feature. The bottom of the level is also magnetic, so it will stick to any steel surface. It has enough pull that it can even hold its own weight, so you can stick it to the underside of a metal bar if youre doing metal work of any type. For confined spaces, this little level is a gem. Highly recommended.
