> 3 dayThis bird cage from Amazon Basics is a great value. Its large enough for just about any bird you might want to use it for, including parrots or macaws. I will initially use it for a parakeet to see how my children like having a bird in our home, but someday I plan to buy a parrot that can talk. I like the fact that the cage has wheels, so its easy to move around as needed. But you can lock the wheels when you need to keep it securely in one place. It has a slide-out grate at the bottom, which makes it easy to clean. And it comes with 2 food trays and 2 perches as well. You can store food and other supplies on the bottom shelf. For the price youre not going to find a better quality bird cage. Its a great value and should last me for years because of the sturdy construction.

> 3 dayI ordered this birdcage for our cockatiel, and it’s been a good cage so far. Furthermore, it’s a very good size cage for a cockatiel or two, or a few parakeets. Assembly is very straightforward. Unboxing and putting the cage together took me a total of about 40 minutes. But I wasn’t in any hurry, so you could probably put it together a bit faster if that is something that’s important to you. I just wanted to be sure I assembled it right the first time. Quality-wise this cage is quite good. It’s not flimsily made or wobbly. It is plenty sturdy. Furthermore, it is a pretty nice-looking cage too. It doesn’t look like a cheap piece of junk. If you have any questions about this Amazon Basics bird cage, please feel free to ask, and Ill try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

Greater than one weekThis is a very nice cage than can accommodate any bird up to the size of a small parrot. It is very easy for two people to assemble although one person can do the job. It has easy access to the food and water containers and comes with two perches. The waste tray pulls out smoothly and is easy to clean. The cage is sturdy and will probably last a lifetime. Great cage for the money.

> 3 dayThis cage is great! It is sturdy and spacious for tiny birds. It rolls easily and assembly was not too difficult. I do not suggest you use this for parrots. They need more space. BUT, for tiny birds like canaries or finch birds, it is PERFECT! I didn’t know Amazon Basics had large pet products like this, but I’m glad I got to check them out. I was very pleasantly surprised. You can buy large cage coverings and since this cage is a pretty standard size, they fit without a problem. There is plenty of space for small birds to stretch their wings, have small nests, use enrichment toys, and have a decently-sized water bowl. All in all, this is a high quality product and I really recommend it!!!

> 3 dayI like this cage. It fits well in tight spaces. Mine came chipped and rusted which was the last thing I needed as I live in a climate where metals rust quickly. If it rusts badly, it will just go outside. For now, I plan to use this as a Chamelon habitats with live tropical plants.

> 3 dayPros, Likes, and Features *Decent size at about 24 wide, 18 deep and 48 high (without the stand estimated) *comes with 2 perches, food and water trays, and a rolling stand for the cage *main door locks, the side food and water doors slide up and down for easy access to the trays *Cage is made of a steel, probably the same steel they use in the thicker sparklers as it is kind of flexible but put together well for little movement if pressed on *There is a slide out tray to catch the bird waste that takes up the whole length and width of the cage underneath it which is easily cleanable. *2 wheels can be locked, 2 cannot *cage stand can hold lots of stuff for the cage like extra toys, perches, food, water (if bottled), newspaper for the waste tray under the cage, etc... Cons, Dislikes *Would be nice if all 4 wheels were lockable not just 2 of them *Would have loved for a recommended play area that could be placed on the cage for the birds to play on This cage for the price at just under $112 at time of review is pretty comparable to similar cages that start at even $300. Very much worth the price and much cheaper than similar ones on the market but almost the same build. Definitely recommend!!
