Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Gift to partner: She loved it! She carries it around in her purse since she needs her portable drive both at school and at home and now it does not get lost or covered in muck (escaped face powder, bc powder package that was forgotten and powdered the purse, lipstick its lid sliding off in travel, etc.). Looks professional. Holds portable hard drive, cord in a netted pocket. No errors with zipper.

I was looking for something to hold a bunch of animal crossing collectible cards and this was PERFECT. It’s nice and sturdy, feels well made, and the perfect small size. I also have some portable hard drives which is what this is actually meant for and they fit nice and safely in there as well. I will probably actually order more for my drives since they are so nice.

Item was a good fit for my portable 512GB SSD.

Super hi quality materials

Theres not much to it, but it holds the drive and a cord, and has some rigidity that makes it feel extra-protected. I keep really important files on my Passports (which I have 3 of), so I like having this for extra confidence.

I bought it to compare it with the MediaBridge Case. I get the cheap feeling with the one from Amazon. The MediaBridge is harder in every way, even the net. Those, the Amazons and MediaBridges Case) are almost the same price.

Nice unit that does the job and is easy to use. I remember that a 1 Gigabit drive cost 10 times than this 2 Terabit drive just a few years ago!
