> 3 dayPoorly manufactured. The tape hardly retracts. Junk.

> 3 dayThe centimeter readings are as clear to read as inches! The self-lock and release work perfectly, and it weighs in at half the weight of my 24 tape measure. This feels great in my hand and 16 is perfect for almost every measuring job I have. Great product that I recommend. I have ordered 2 more of these to keep handy.

> 3 dayThis is a really good measuring tape for the money! It is well made and the tape itself is pretty strong. I just use it for odd jobs around the house and when measuring to hang pictures etc.

> 3 dayEdit: Dropped this from five stars to two. For some reason theres a release on the BOTTOM of the tape measure. This means any time you have it pressed again a surface, the tape releases. Really dumb design flaw. I suppose if youre just hooking it to a nail to measure distance with the tape in the air, its all good. But as soon as you try and measure something on a board, or a wall, or ANY surface... the tape zips in. Meh. Aside from that I really like these, but its a big problem.

> 3 dayReasonably well made with clear marks. Self-locking feature doesnt lock as firmly as Id like. Bottom of tape measure isnt flat so it is quite prone to tipping over while youre manipulating the other end, can be frustrating. Basically it does the occasional job, but if youre going to measuring a lot, look for something better.

> 3 dayI have never had a self-locking measuring tape, and now I dont understand why they arent the standard. It makes it SO EASY to measure things by myself. I just moved and Ive been heavily using this tape measure these last couple of weeks and its worked great. Sometimes it seems like it gets a little stuck when retracting it, but its not a big deal -- I just pull it out a little and re-retract. Ill never go back to a measuring tape without the self-locking feature.

> 3 dayIt works really well. Seems pretty sturdy. I like having metric on one side.

> 3 dayWorks ok and is good for temporary project. Not the best I’ve ever had but it will do. Nothing wrong with it and pretty fair deal I’d say.

24-11-2024I love self/auto locking tape measures. They just make sense to me. This tape measure is no different, pulls out smooth and instantly locks. The unlock button is a little disappointing though, its not a firm on/off press like I would expect and what I am use to on other tape measures.

> 3 dayPurchased this for my brother and it turned out to be an awesome tape measure. I was tempted to keep it for myself. (lol)
