> 3 dayThis is well-made and works well. We got this for our daughters personal toolbox. 25 is good enough for most DIY projects, and the lock and brake mechanisms are as expected. I do like the little foot at the end of the tap, that helps you catch it on an edge to do a one-person measure.

Greater than one weekThe centimeter readings are as clear to read as inches! The self-lock and release work perfectly, and it weighs in at half the weight of my 24 tape measure. This feels great in my hand and 16 is perfect for almost every measuring job I have. Great product that I recommend. I have ordered 2 more of these to keep handy.

> 3 dayThis self-locking tape measure from AmazonBasics is just as good as any of the pricier ones that I own and I own many because I lose them around the house all the time. Somewhere in my house is a vast pit of old tape measures that Im hoping to discover one day.

> 3 dayGood for basic jobs around the house, but if you’re looking for something more durable like contractors use, I’d look elsewhere. It does hold automatically when you pull out, but I couldn’t hold it more than a few feet before it collapses in itself.
