Amazon Basics Single Toggle Light Switch Outlet Wall Plate, Oil Rubbed Bronze, 3-Pack, 1 Gang

The AmazonBasics Single Toggle Wall Plates are very nice looking. They have a flawless finish and are a perfect match for my other bronze colored plates. They are quite thick and heavy and come with long screws. The plates are slightly bigger in height and width than most of the plastic plates.I I find this an advantage. I did have one problem. I have a dimming switch which looks just like a normal switch, though it apparently has a longer on/off run than a normal toggle. The toggle worked fine with a thin cheap plastic switch plate, but the AmazonBasics switch would not easily allow it to move the full length to dim and then turn off the light. It would work, but felt stiff at the turn off point. The plate thickness barely stopped the toggle action. I think this might be true of any thicker plate with this type of toggle. It works perfectly for any other switches.

This is a good looking, durable upgrade the the cheap plastic I was replacing. Really helped complete the look of the room I was remodeling.

I love the design and the color; they have class; the design is simple but elegant. Ive put them up in the hallway, which had three switchplates: a fancy one for the outside bathroom switch and two hall light switches--one at each end of the hallway. They are beautiful and elegant; they give a cohesive and classy look to the long hallway. And I got them just in time for my open house so Im even more pleased!

Color appears to be more silver than brass.. I may keep because I have a mix of chrome and brass in the bathroom already, but the color looks nothing like the photo.

This may work for you, but didnt for me. I knew going in that I didnt have the exact gang configuration for this anywhere in my home, but thought it would work on an outlet/switch combo. In theory it should have, and after removing the old white wall plate, it did fit over the switch and outlets just fine. I like the refined antique brass finish. The problem came when trying to screw it on. While the screws holes over the outlet section aligned just fine, the two above and below the switch are placed just a little too far apart. You may be able to see this my comparison photo. So I wasnt able to install the plate after all, which is a shame. I dont know if this is a manufacturing defect, but I would think the placement of the screw holes should be standard. Two plates come in each box and are well packaged. ~ Kort

Very solid plates. They look really good. I thought they would be less substantial and Frasier but was surprised by how nice and solid they are. Im very happy with these.
