Amazon Basics Tri-Fold Garment Bag

Was really surprised by the size of the bag. So lets be clear about what youre going to receive. The outside of the garment bag has a pocket that is sufficient for holding a single laptop. There are extra slots within the outer sleeve for accessories (e.g. power cables, battery charger). Inside, you will have a large space for clothes and three cloth hooks at the top (they get progressively smaller). There is a soft crossbar for holding your garments down and tie downs (clips) at the top and bottom. The inner liner is closed with a zipper and has four external pockets on the outer side of the liner. The pockets include one mesh zippered pocket. Two non-mesh zippered pockets and one non-mesh velcro pocket. Closes up nicely and comes with a shoulder strap for carrying. The folded bag fits nicely into overhead compartments on flights.

These things are popular and I know why. Each bag holds way more than I expected, theyre light weight and fit in the overhead compartment easily. Our formal clothes traveled well and without any wrinkling. The only drawback? A lot of people have them and you have to be careful when pulling out of the bin to make sure you have yours.

My husband needed a new garment bag for some business trips. He has used it twice and really had enjoyed it. He is a big guy and the size is perfect for him. He also likes that it has lots of pockets to stash things. He will be enjoying using this for years to come.

I realized upon receipt of this that it would not meet the carry on guidelines which I needed it for. Bummer. I returned it.

If you travel for business you know finding a garment bag is...annoying. I use this always for my business travel, because it keeps my clothes neat and organized well. This has held up to both flying and car trips. The quality of the bag is on par with far more expensive ones from eBags brand and elsewhere. Its very good for the price point. Unfortunately, I did not receive a shoulder strap with my bag, for which I deducted a star. Its supposed to come with one, so be sure to check for yours when you order it. I was seriously bummed about that. Otherwise, it is a good product.

AmazonBasics garment bag. Its just that, basic. Got this for a friend who was traveling to a convention. Was able to get 3 suits in it with very minimal scrunching. Said the shoulder pad couldve been a little better but overall it got the job done.

I actually got this for my daughter, because she travels frequently, and wanted a garment bag because she didnt want to stuff her dresses into a suitcase. This AmazonBasics garment bag works great! There is plenty of room for several suits/dresses/shirts/pants. Also has several pockets for shoes and/or accessories. The size is good for using as a carry on bag, so you dont have to check it. Sturdy handles and a sturdy shoulder strap for easy carrying.
