This requires an allen wrench (included), and attaching 4 nuts and screws. It was super easy to put together, feels really sturdy, and does a nice job of raising the monitor to the correct height for me. It is not adjustable, so you get what you get.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do, raises the bedroom TV to the perfect height. Glad this product exists.

Very pleased with the purchase; it was easy to assemble and gf good quality too.

Although stated as monitor shelf - this will be used by myself to keep a PC base from carpeted floor namely a Corsair 600T Case - the case is about 1cm wider than the stand itself but this does not affect its security and the weight of the case does not seem to affect the item!
