Coming from an AMD A10-6800K this CPU was a major step up to its 6 core/12 threads. The CPU performs as expected, Ive overclocked mine from the stock 3.4GHz to 4.0GHz on stock voltages. I paired this with 3000MHz RAM and it just purrs? roars on!

I have trouble overclocking over 3.95GHz, but in all, the 6/12 @ base clocks are enough for 80% of the population

What else can i say that other reviews havent. Its a great cpu with a great value, the cooler it comes with is ok, but not top of the line, but its good enough to keep this cpu cool. Performance in gaming is amazing paired with my 1070 ti. Games run smooth on it no problem, and it can even do well in streaming 720p. The scores in any benchmark are good for it. It has all been easy so far except a problem in overclocking but the problem is my motherboard and not the cpu. All of my friends also have this or 7 2700 and we all have had the same experience. 10/10 recommend to anyone.
