Very good cpu for the money you Spent on it!

Ryzen 1st gen was a breath of fresh air for AMD fans everywhere and with Ryzen 2nd just surpassed my expectations with handling workloads from playing destiny 2, having YouTube playing in the background, and being in a discoed call with no noticeable stutter or loss in frames. Also with the stock cooler that comes with CPU it works extremely well and I have not noticed any overheating on long duration gaming sessions. Overall great CPU, and if I had the money I would buy ten more of these bad boys.

I bought this cpu for £149 and is great. I couldnt stream with my i5 8600k.

I think I average around 70c in games with the stock cooler and I also have no intake fans and 1 exhaust.

Habe die CPU seit 1 Jahr und muss sagen die überrascht mich immer wieder. Läuft bei mir auf 4 Ghz mit 1.325 V.

I purchased this CPU to upgrade from an ageing Haswell i5. Being a team blue follower for the last few years, I had to give AMD a try with all the good publicity they have been getting with Ryzen. Considering this CPU was £~50 cheaper than the 2600X version, I saved myself a decent amount by opting for this and simply overclocking it to a stable 4.20 Ghz. (This may not be possible with all 2600 CPUs, obviously..)

I went back & forth for weeks leading up to my purchase whether or not Id get the 2600 or the 2600X CPU and settled on going with the 2600 and saving $50 (US). Im super glad I did. I havent taken any time to overclock the chip yet but at stock Ive already tested streaming games using the CPU to do the encoding and now that Ive figure out how to best setup everything for this, the CPU has been able to handle it without a single issue. Additionally, the price vs performance of this CPU is amazing.
