AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

I’m not saying anything that hasn’t already been said many, many times before but it’s a great piece of hardware. Extremely stable under load. What impresses me most is that you can achieve 4.2Ghz over 6 cores at 65W TDP all at sub 95 C Temps. I was running a 2400g previously and thus core essentially doubles my processing capacity. Rarely get above 40% utilization. Endless ability to multi-task. As far as gaming goes the 6-core at max 4.2Ghz is the sweet spot as far as i’m concerned. In the future, more cores will be more useful, but as it stands right now, there aren’t many practical applications that will test this processor to its limits. The main bottlenecks you will experience when it comes to consumer computing these days will stem from the speed of your internet connection. A few months after buying this CPU I upgraded to gigabit ethernet, and renistalled windows on a M.2 drive, and now my desktop computing experience is practically seamless. Where do we go from here? I don’t have a clue.

Absolute stunner CPU was such a good decision runs great and the cooler it comes with is actually really good for a stock cooler manages to keep it below 40* when idle and under 60* when gaming and working

This thing is beastly compared to my old G4560. Ended up adding an aftermarket cooler though because it ran hotter than what I’d like. It’s more than I need but I’ll get more use out of my PC in the long run.

It bought the x470 motherboard by accident and it worked! The only issues i had is my rx590 Sapphire wasn’t detected to I updated its software and everything is running perfectly!
