Excelente desempenho, sim ele esquenta bastante mas isso é normal para amd, compre um cooler a parte o coolerbox não é bom para ele.

IF you have a B550 chipset, all / most of the board manufacturers have a BIOS update that will allow the chip to run them. There IS a CATCH... you first have to install a older CPU, boot and FLASH the BIOS to new version, then install the 5600x processor. I used a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, for the swap. Worked perfectly after. I was SHOCKED by the performance of the CPU and the PCIe 4.0 performance. Previously I had Dual Xeon 6 core HT CPUs @ 2.6ghz base. (12 cores , 24 threads) in a computer. I built a new computer and this CPU with a B550 motherboard was at LEAST 10x faster the the Xeon setup.

Good for the price and defiantly a good choice for a quick upgrade. Don’t let your pc build be bottle necked just because your cpu because it is just as important as the gpu.

Upgraded from a Ryzen 1600AF. Using Radeon RX 6600 and 16GB 3200 RAM. Assassins Creed Odyssey went from 64fps average with everything maxed at 1080p to 96fps at same settings!
