The CPU works great took me a bit to figure out how to install the cooler. It needs to screw it to a removable plate on the back of the motherboard. Once I figured that out the installation was a breeze.

I used to use AMD stuff all the time 20+ years ago. I thought with recent development things were much better. After two motherboards coupled with the same CPU, produced the same result a black screen upon which I could get it to do nothing. Memory was swapped along everything else, but the motherboard CPU combination yielded me the same result and reminded me of hours of endless troubleshooting on their stuff in the past. Not worth the headache so do yourself a favor dont buy AMD CPU s for nothing. I guarantee you it wont run some old program correctly, or have some sort of communication issue or not be as stable. It will be a long time before I buy another damn AMD CPU again if ever.
